Rock County Grant Assistance Program

Are you finding it difficult to seek mental health care due to the high cost?

You may qualify for a GAP Fund Grant:

      • Rock County Resident
      • High Deductible or No Insurance
      • Ineligible for existing programs

Empowering Rock County residents and prioritizing your mental health by significantly lowering the cost of counseling services.

Grant recipients are responsible for contributing $25 per mental health session, with the grant covering the rest of the cost for up to 10 sessions in one year.

Active Issue Teams

Oral Health

This issue team has brought in a monthly mobile dental clinic since 2019. In addition, they have had a presence at Trunk or Treat, a pilot toothbrushing program for 2nd graders, school dental screenings, and provided a U of M class presentation.

One Stop Resources

Working to provide a central location where area resources are compiled and updated for people to access, and provide mentorship for people in need of these resources.

Brain Health

This issue team has been very active in providing information to the community and school through workshops, trainings, activities, and online infomercials. They host an annual “Out of the Darkness” suicide prevention walk spreading hope and awareness.

Community Involvement
